LogicMark announced today that the Guardian Alert 911 is available in more than 5000 retail and medical retail stores across North America. Portable and lightweight, Guardian Alert 911 is a next generation personal emergency response system that works throughout the house, eliminates costly monthly subscriptions, and expedites emergency calls. Guardian Alert 911 is now available at large merchandisers throughout the United States, including Harmon’s, Hy-Vee, Snyder, United Supermarkets, Navarro, Ukrop’s, Wilkinson Pharmacy, Scott’s Pharmacy, Shop ‘n Save Pharmacy, Cub Pharmacy, Shopper’s Pharmacies, Bigg’s Pharmacy, and Lewis Drug. Independent medical equipment suppliers throughout the country are also offering the product. Additionally, Shopper’s Drug Mart stores throughout Canada are carrying the product. Unlike previous generations of alert technology by other manufacturers, Guardian Alert 911 addresses several major issues in the market: Two-way speakerphone pendant allows direct conversation from the pendant to the emergency operator. No monthly fees. One time affordable fees, instead of costly $30-$50 monthly subscriptions. Guardian Alert 911 offers much more range than the traditional 30 feet in a limited footprint. With a range of several hundred feet, Guardian Alert 911 offers complete coverage in and around the home where accidents and injuries frequently occur. Easier to use, one-button device Expedites calls by eliminating call services, instead sending users directly to 911 operators. “This breakthrough product is a tremendous boon for families and loved ones who are exploring effective and less expensive ways to care for retired and adult family members,” said LogicMark President Mark Gottlieb. “Displays at the stores will make it easy for buyers to touch and feel the system. This broad-based approach to consumers makes it more convenient for both the buyers and the user to experience Guardian Alert 911’s benefits and ease-of-use.” Guardian Alert 911’s push-button technology affords users emergency response via a mini, wearable pendant, which communicates with a base station connected to an existing home phone jack. Even if the user is unable to speak, the emergency operator can identify the caller’s location through caller ID and send immediate help. The unit, which was named winner of the “Best Design & Innovation Showcase Award” of the 2005 Consumer Electronic Show, typically retails for $199.95. Guardian Alert is water-resistant, battery powered, and installs in seconds. Additionally, the product has no monthly charges, no monitoring or service fees and no contracts. The pendant never requires charging and operates on a single AAA alkaline battery. The product also comes with a limited one year warranty. “Guardian Alert 911 not only brings families and loved ones peace of mind, but also allows more than 76 million Americans to lead safer lives while living independently,” added LogicMark Vice President of Sales & Marketing Paul Green. “With the average daily rates for single rooms in assisted living facilities and nursing homes exceeding $100 per day, Guardian Alert 911 practically pays for itself in days.” About LogicMark LogicMark specializes in the design and manufacture of innovative home healthcare products.
