Ajmer-Kishanganj train to from July 30

A new weekly train between Ajmer in Rajasthan and Kishanganj in Bihar, named Garib Nawaz Express, will be launched on July 30, a North-West Zone Railways spokesman said here today.

The train will start from Kishanganj on July 30 and from Ajmer on August 1. The major stops will be Katihar, Barauli, Hajipur, Sonpur, Chapra, Balia, Mau, Ajamgarh, Shahganj, Faizabad, Lucknow, Shahjhanpur, Bareli, Muradabad, Delhi, Rewari, Alwar and Jaipur, the spokesman said.

It will have 15 bogies including four ordinary, eight sleeper, and three AC-sleeper coaches.

NWZ Railways has also started special train services from Bandra in Mumbai to Ajmer for the Urs festival.
