Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has said that the recent meeting between President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Havana could result in conflict resolutions through confidence building measures. Addressing a seminar here, Aziz said that Pakistanstands for an amicable resolution of the Kashmir issue acceptable to all three parties - Pakistan, India and the Kashmiris. He called for flexibility to seek solution of the Kashmir dispute. He also criticized Pope Benedict�s recent statement on Islam, saying that Islam shouldn�t be misinterpreted. �Terrorism doesn�t have borders neither it is linked to Islam�, he said. Commenting on the Iran's nuclear issue, Aziz said Pakistan recognizes Iran's right to use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes under appropriate international safeguards. LIke India, Pakistan was also in favour of the Iranian nuclear issue being resolved through dialogue rather than by force.
