He may have played the fearless Captain Kirk in the hit TV series ‘Star Trek' who ‘boldly went where no man has gone before', but it seems that when it comes to going into space in real life, actor William Shatner won't be taking any steps toward the final frontier ‘boldly'. British tycoon Sir Richard Branson offered 75-year old Shatner a chance to join Virgin Galactic's first passenger flight in 2008 - without having to pay the whopping 114,000 pound ticket fee. However, Shatner revealed that though he was interested in the journey into the unknown, he was neither looking forward to vomiting in space or becoming the victim of a ‘fiery crash'. "I'm interested in man's march into the unknown but to vomit in space is not my idea of a good time. Neither is a fiery crash with the vomit hovering over me," The Sun quoted him, as saying. "I do want to go up but I need guarantees I'll definitely come back," he added. And while Shatner is turning down the opportunity to journey in space, celebs like ‘Alien' star Sigourney Weaver have booked the 21/2-hour flight. The craft is called the VSS Enterprise - in tribute to Star Trek.
