Concurrent Announces $10 Million Credit Facility

Concurrent (NASDAQ: CCUR), a worldwide leader of on-demand technology that is shaping the future of television, announced today that is has secured a $10 million credit facility with Silicon Valley Bank, the commercial banking arm of SVB Financial Group (NASDAQ: SIVB). This new facility is a replacement for the existing facility that was set to expire on December 23, 2006. To date, Concurrent has not accessed the available credit facility but plans to roll the existing term loan into the new facility. The amount available under the credit facility will be dependent on Concurrent’s outstanding accounts receivables and other factors.

“SVB’s agreement to this new credit facility is a vote of confidence in our business plan and our product lines,” stated Greg Wilson, CFO of Concurrent. “This continued access to working capital will strengthen our financial flexibility and allow us to grow our business both domestically and overseas.”

Concurrent VOD solutions are deployed worldwide with major multi-system operators (MSOs) such as Time Warner, Comcast, BrightHouse, J:COM and Cox Communications; it recently announced the deployment of its millionth VOD stream. Earlier this year, Novell announced that it would make available SUSE® Linux Enterprise Real Time, enabling customers to realize the benefits of Linux for real-time applications. SUSE Linux Enterprise Real Time from Novell® adds real-time technology from Concurrent to the flexible and scalable SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 platform.
