While Santa may be making his list and checking it twice for the holidays, Cincinnati USA is crafting its own list of reasons to celebrate the season. From Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day, families can enjoy annual holiday traditions, sounds of the season, arts, culture, theatre, museums, galleries, teas, buffets, sporting events, New Year’s Eve celebrations and many one of a kind events found only in Cincinnati USA. “Cincinnati USA is a special place to celebrate the Season with our annual holiday traditions from the Duke Energy trains and Fountain Square ice skating rink to family-fun attractions like Scuba Santa at Newport Aquarium, Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo and Redsfest,” said Linda Antus, president of the Cincinnati USA Regional Tourism Network. More than a million visitors are expected to enjoy Cincinnati USA to celebrate the holidays with hundreds of family-fun events. A free holiday event guide, presented by the P&G Family of Brands: Oral B, Charmin, Folgers, Cascade, Tampax, and Head and Shoulders is available at www.cincinnatiusa.com , area hotels and parking garages. The web site also includes information on local hotel listings, travel information, attractions, and downtown parking facilities. “But the fun doesn’t stop after the holidays,” said Antus. “We want visitors to mark their calendars now to come back for our seasonal Fusion events: Spring for Cincinnati USA Blooms and the 10th anniversary of the Flying Pig Marathon, Summer for Taste of Cincinnati and Macy’s Music Festival, and Fall for the Black Family Reunion and America’s Oktoberfest Zinzinnati USA.” NEW for 2008 Joining the list of new Cincinnati USA attractions are CoCo Key Water Resort, The BODIES Exhibit at Museum Center at Union Terminal, Rembrandt Exhibition at the Cincinnati Art Museum and the River Span Sculpture Exhibit on the Purple People Bridge.
