Grizzard Communications Group, an industry leader in integrated, direct response marketing and fundraising, today announced that it has been awarded the Bronze ECHO in the Business and Consumer Services category for its Volume promotion targeted at the wholesale/retail apparel and home furnishings industries. Grizzard also earned Certificates of Excellence for its multi-channel campaign for The Salvation Army Chicago Metropolitan Division and its video persuasion series for Lutheran Hour Ministries. “The ECHO Award is one of the most prestigious honors awarded in direct marketing and includes entries from over 40 countries from around the world,” said Debbi Barber, President at Grizzard Communications Group. “To be recognized for our strategic approach and creativity from a competitive field of over 1,100 submissions is a tremendous honor.” The award-winning campaign leveraged the breadth and depth of experience and expertise within Grizzard. A self-promotional campaign, Volume ONE featured sophisticated graphics and oversized elements that were not only different and attention-grabbing, but showcased Grizzard’s significant talent and innovation. Campaign execution consisted of a two-step direct mailing, followed up by an outbound phone call as well as a unique URL dedicated to the campaign. The International ECHO Awards, produced by the Direct Marketing Association (DMA), honors excellence in direct marketing creativity, marketing strategy, and response results. This year’s awards were presented during the DMA07 Conference and Exhibition held in Chicago, IL on October 16, 2007.
