Elisha Cuthbert is Sassy

I have a love-hate relationship with Elisha Cuthbert. I absolutely hate the girl, or her character, as the daughter of Jack Bauer in the hit Fox series 24. Do something idiot!

Her role in Girl Next Door, on the other hand, has had me longing for the actress ever since; and I don't care if she, the character, was a porn star.

It now looks like I will have another opportunity to pass judgment on Elisha with her new role that has her acting sassy.

According to Variety, Gold Circle Films is in negotiations to pick up Elisha Cuthbert for My Sassy Girl.

Cuthbert would play a reckless, brazen girl who turns the life of a small-town guy from the Midwest upside down. Production is scheduled to start Oct. 16 in Gotham.

Yann Samuell will direct based off the screenplay by Vic Levin. The scribe adapted the story from a South Korean romantic comedy.

Gold Circle production VP Zak Kadison, who brought the project in, is co-producing with Maverick's Brent Emery.

Cuthbert has a couple of films in the can including Frank Cappello's He Was a Quiet Man and Roland Joffe's Captivity.
