Five killed, thirteen injured in road mishap

Five persons, including a toddler, were killed and 13 injured in a head-on collision between two buses under Padu police station in Nagaur district, almost 200 km from here, police said today.

The accident happened in the afternoon when a bus going towards Ramdeora from Pushkar collided with a bus coming from Medta and going towards Parbatsar, they said.

Three women and a toddler died on the spot while one person was declared brought dead in hospital.

All the injured were rushed to government hospital in Ajmer district. Senior police and administrative officials have reached the spot.

Police have registered a case against drivers of both buses and further investigations were on.
