Former Pakistan Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has been appointed as the new President of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF). The Patron-in-Chief of PHF, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, nominated Jamali as the president after accepting the resignation of PIA Chairman Tariq Kirmani. "Prime Minister of Pakistan in his capacity as Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Hockey Federation has been pleased to accept the resignation of Mr.Tariq Kirmani, President, Pakistan Hockey Federation and to nominate Mir.Zafarullah Khan Jamali, Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, as President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation", The News quoted a notification as saying. Jamali has been associated with hockey since long and has served as Chief Selector also.
