At least four persons were killed and seven others injured when a Tatal Sumo, in which they were travelling, collided head-on with a bus near Himmatpur, 15 km from here, today, police said. Eleven people were returning home after paying obeisance at Naina Devi temple in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh when the accident took place, they said. The dead have been identified as Neela, Gurdeep Singh, Bagga and driver Lakhi, all belonging to Handiyaya village of Sangrur district. The injured have been identified as Sukhwinder, Lakhvir, Nirmal Singh and Pritpal of Handiyaya, Tirath Bawa and Shamsher Singh alias Bhola of Dhanaula Khurd and Mandeep of Khyala village in Mansa district. The injured were admitted at the Rupnagar civil hospital.
