Carmike Cinemas, Inc. (NASDAQ: CKEC) announced today that starting on Friday, February 1, 2008 fans of the popular Disney star “Hannah Montana” will have the opportunity to see the singer, song writer and actress Miley Cyrus perform her sold-out “Best of Both Worlds” concert tour in a high quality Disney Digital 3D format at their local Carmike theatres. This special event presented by Walt Disney Pictures is being recorded in state-of-the-art Disney Digital 3D format shot throughout the superstar’s 54-city nationwide concert tour, which began on October 18, 2007. The big screen premiere will feature Miley Cyrus performing as the popular Disney character Hannah Montana and includes special guest stars The Jonas Brothers. “We are thrilled to present this sold-out concert event and to provide fans with a unique way to connect with the Disney superstar Hannah Montana,” said Michael W. The event will be featured in 192 digital Carmike movie theatres starting on Friday, February 1, 2008 through Thursday February 7, 2008.
