Two exhibition hockey matches featuring Indian and Pakistani players as well as Bollywood stars will be played in Chandigarh next month as part of an effort to woo the public to the game. One match will be between the current players of the two countries for the AHA Glorious Hockey Cup and the other one will be between the Indian film and television actors and former players of both countries at Chandigarh's Sector 42 Stadium in Sep 11. Prabodh Tirkey will lead the host side, Indian Hockey Federation (IHF) president K.P.S. Gill said in a statement here Thursday. "We are confident that the AHA Glorious Hockey Cup will evoke a phenomenal response and the ground will be full to its capacity for the matches," he said. Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty said that the effort would help lift the image of hockey in a country that has won eight Olympic gold medals. "This is an impressive measure taken to bring back the golden era of Indian hockey," he said. Indian team: Goalkeepers: Baljit Singh, Adrian D'Souza Defenders: Dilip Tirkey, William Xalxo, V.R.
