Unaffected by the shake-up at the top, India retained their 13th spot in the latest world women's hockey rankings released by the FIH.
By virtue of their silver medal-winning feat at the Champions Trophy on home turf at Quilmes, Argentina exchanged places with the powerful Australians to become the second-ranked team behind the Netherlands.
After their title win at Quilmes, the Dutch, at the top, now have 2144 ranking points, 335 more than Argentina (1809). Australia is ranked third with 1791 points, while Germany remains steady at the fourth place with 1681 points.
India have 663 points.
