Work in the High Court and lower courts here remained paralysed as the strike called by Jammu Bar Association demanding transfer of the sex racket case from Srinagar to Jammu entered 32nd day today.
A JBA spokesman told PTI that until the case is transferred to Jammu or any other place outside Kashmir, the strike would continue.
The JBA is opposing the decision of its Kashmir Valley counterparts to bar lawyers from representing the accused in the sex racket. It says transfer of the case from Srinagar to Jammu would ensure a "fair trail in a secured environment".
