It seems the musical tastes of Britain's politicians are stuck mostly in the 1970s. A recent poll conducted to find their favourite album, was topped by Led Zeppelin's 1969 classic Led Zeppelin II. The rock veteran's album beat back competition from three Beatles’s album ‘Revolver’ (1966), ‘Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band’ (1967) and ‘The White Album’ (1968), which came second, third and fourth respectively, reports Contactmusic. The politicians were asked to name their favourite disc to coincide with the London opening of a British library display celebrating 50 years of the album chart.
