New York, Dec 31 : Her partying antics aside, it seems that Lindsay Lohan will have a pretty easy time stepping into politics � if she decides to run on behalf of the New York State Independence Party that is. Party member Frank Morano, in an email to the 'Bobby' star, has encouraged the actress to follow the lead of other Hollywood celebs and enter the world of politics by running for the New York City public advocate. "As Albany is currently a cesspool of corruption, badly in need of reform, you may also want to consider a bid for the state legislature," the New York Daily News quoted him, as stating in the email. As for why he should be urging Lohan to step into politics, well that's because he thinks that she has more "potential" that California Governor Arnold Governor, or even former US President Ronald Regan. "Many celebrities have made the transition from Hollywood to politics, ranging from Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jesse Ventura to Sonny Bono and Ronald Regan.
