Most national governments have stepped in and laid down the law regarding motor vehicle accidents. When this happens, the person responsible for the accident is required to stop driving immediately. He is also required to hand in the papers of the car and his insurance papers to the police, FBI or any other law enforcement officer present at the scene. When found guilty, the driver may be sentenced to jail or is asked to pay a penalty. The key to preventing vehicle accidents is to drive carefully and safely. Car manufacturers have been making moves to fully comply with government-regulated safety standards. But the wise thing to do is to "Drive Slowly, Reach safely."
