Never discussing marriage protects Beyonce's relationship

Former 'Destiny's Child' singer Beyonce Knowles has revealed that she and her beau Jay-Z have never discussed marriage, as they believe not discussing it helps protect their relationship.

"It's a part of my job. We've never talked about it and it's kind of protected our relationship. I think it's kind of kept us out of a lot of drama in the tabloids. Even though we're still in them, it's not as much as some celebrities," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

During her appearance on a US chat show 'The View' on Monday (11SEP06), Beyonce also said that she does not consider constant questions of her fans about their marriage plans to be barbs, as she herself has been a fan of many celebrities.

"It doesn't drive me crazy. I understand. I was a fan of other celebrities and I wanted to know (if they were getting married). I was interested," she said.

When asked if she's ever considered trying her luck in rap genre and Jay-Z in singing, she said, "Oh, no, never! I'm like the worst rapper and he's not a great singer!"
