The People’s Princess Charitable Foundation, Inc. announced today the release of My Decade with Diana – the Perpetual Power of the People’s Princess, a heavily illustrated coffee table book, which reveals the story of Princess Diana’s heartfelt wish to help the less fortunate by "using beautiful things to do beautiful things" with her royal dresses that she auctioned at the world famous Christie's charity sale just eight weeks before her death. The story is also a discovery of the challenges and travails of the incredible journey of the posthumous power of Princess Diana's dresses purchased by Maureen Rorech Dunkel, which have been used to help children in need and those suffering with AIDS and cancer. The book became available for purchase online Aug. 13, 2007 at The People’s Princess Charitable Foundation’s Web site, www.PrincessDianaDresses.com. The Foundation has decided to use a unique approach to market books by enlisting other 501(c)3 organizations as Promotion Charity Partners, versus making the book available through any profit distribution channel. The People's Princess Charitable Foundation, Inc. envisions 501(c)3 organizations helping promote the book on their Web sites and through their channels that reach their audiences, supporters and stakeholders. 100% of the purchase price - a $100 tax deductible donation - goes to charity.
