Government Small Business ExpressLoans are now available nationwide to fund start-up companies with up to $25,000 in "seed" capital. Young companies with two or more years of operating history may apply for up to $50,000.
"Many small business owners have difficulty locating sources of capital for their start-up businesses until now," states Houston based Covenant Capital Corporation president Ervin Hughes, speaking of his company's Small Business ExpressLoan Program. The new government loan program offers simplified qualifying for start-up small businesses that require no business plans, no personal financial statements, no tax returns, no collateral, no owner equity injections, and not even a store front is required. The loan program is great for home-based businesses as well. New companies may qualify for between $5,000 and $25,000 and businesses with two or more years in operation may qualify for up to $50,000. Funds may be used for working capital to set up a new company or expand an existing one.
