Olivia Founder and GM Ensures Smooth Sailing Ahead

In response to a recent lawsuit filed by Olivia's former CEO and three other executives claiming that Olivia had wrongfully fired them, Olivia’s Founder and President Judy Dlugacz addresses the company’s unwavering commitment to consumers worldwide.

The lawsuit had sought, among other things, the extreme remedy of an involuntary dissolution of Olivia. Olivia promptly moved to dismiss that claim, which was clearly intended to disrupt its operations. On October 18, 2007, the San Francisco Superior Court granted Olivia's motion to dismiss the dissolution claim and the Court rejected the former employees' request to give them "leave to amend" this part of their case. That claim is thus no longer part of the lawsuit.

Olivia also has filed a cross complaint against its former CEO for breach of her fiduciary duties and to collect sums due on a substantial loan Olivia made to her.
