Although socialite Paris Hilton dismissed her DUI arrest on Thursday morning as "nothing", her rep insists she's taking it seriously. The 'Stars Are Blind' singer was pulled over in Hollywood on 7th Sept after police officers noticed her Mercedes being driven erratically. Paris was taken to the police station and a sobriety test reportedly revealed that the socialite was slightly over the legal limit. Her sister, Nicky Hilton, arrived at the police station just before 2am along with her boyfriend Kevin Connolly and Paris' publicist Elliot Mintz to collect her. Meanwhile Hilton's publicist Elliott Mintz issued a statement claiming that the socialite regrets the whole incident. "She regrets what happened. She did not take this matter lightly or frivolously. She had never been arrested before, and it was clearly humiliating and disorienting," Contactmusic quoted the New York Daily News as saying. Just hours after the incident Paris called into Ryan Seacrest's radio show on LA station KIIS FM to explain she had only been driving fast because she wanted a burger. Mintz adds, "Paris regrets getting behind the wheel with even one drink. She had not eaten all day. She was a little weak. She left the event intending to go to In-N-Out burger. She is a big fan of fast food." If convicted, Paris faces three months' probation and having her driving license restricted for 90 days. Meanwhile TMZ reported that the heiress had dodged her own movie release party, showing up at Hyde in Hollywood wearing a wig. On Thursday night, she skipped the party celebrating her new movie, "Bottoms Up," where Sleepy Brown was lined up to perform "Margarita," his new single. She left the party with her publicist Elliot Minz who drove her home. As she got out of the car, a photographer asked why she was wearing a dark wig. "Just for fun," she replied. When another asked how she was treated in jail, she said, "...just wonderfully."
