Paris Hilton is not too particular about punctuality!

Stars apparently are valued more if they arrive late at events they're scheduled for, or at least big socialite Paris Hilton thinks so.

The hotel heiress was late for almost every publicity event planned for her in Tokyo where she went to promote her new album, "Paris".

According to TMZ.com, Hilton was not only an hour late for a meet and greet in font of Shinjuku Station, but she was also tardy for a live radio broadcast and an HMV in-store appearance earlier that day.

But despite her lack of punctuality, she received a warm welcome from her fans in Tokyo, who had gathered in huge number to catch a glimpse of the Simple Life star.

Hilton will be in Japan till Friday (25Aug06).
