Returned Mail Solutions, Inc. (RMS) has named industry veteran Joe Ewers to its Company Advisory Board. The Advisory Board will provide ongoing guidance to the management team on issues of strategy, solution, marketing, vertical integration and process. Mr. Ewers is currently Executive Vice President of Compact Digital Solutions, a leading provider of information solutions for direct marketers. He is part Owner of Compact, as well as other multiple businesses in the Retail vertical. Previously, he served 20 years as President and Owner of Lee Marketing Services, a well-known national direct marketing organization. He was responsible for taking Lee Marketing from a small local lettershop to a national integrated direct marketing services provider. “Joe is well connected and respected in the direct marketing, mailing and fulfillment industry as a visionary leader, with a vast history of building infrastructure, first to market solutions and growth companies. He will be a key member of our new board and play an important role in our future because of his industry experience and key relationships,” said Robert Hedstrom. Joe served as Shareholder, Board of Directors and Vice President of the National Association of Advertising Distributors (NAAD), Board of Directors for the Mailing & Fulfillment Service Association (MFSA), and has received various industry awards, including most recently the MFSA Leo Bernhemier Lifetime Achievement Award, one of the most highly recognized awards in the entire Direct Mail Marketing industry. “Joe will provide unparalleled guidance and thought leadership with our first to market Direct Mail solution for returned mail.
