RipeTV® Launches Max Effect Channel Featuring Programming from Cinemax

RipeTV®, Ripe Digital Entertainment’s (RDE) multi-platform men’s network, recently launched Max Effect, a unique, individualized channel on RipeTV broadband (www.ripetv.com) featuring licensed programming from the premium television service, Cinemax. Designed to give audiences a sneak peek at some of Cinemax’s innovative and uncensored programming, Max Effect will be updated regularly with new and exciting content from the Cinemax schedule.

Currently featured on Max Effect are selections from the Cinemax late-night series “Sin City Diaries,” as well as short-form pieces created specifically for Cinemax audiences. These programs include the behind-the-scenes interview promo “60 Seconds With,” featuring interviews with the cast of the feature film 300, “Max Tour Stories” which includes interviews with today’s hottest rock and hip-hop artists, such as Gym Class Heroes, and “Max Final Cut,” exclusive, candid and uncensored conversations with the casts of the hottest upcoming films such as The Kingdom.

The agreement marks the first time Cinemax will offer its content via external portals, allowing users free access to select content in RDE’s signature short-form programming model. The Max Effect schedules will be promoted throughout the Ripe network, including cross promotion for Cinemax programming online and MAX On Demand.
