Salon City, Inc. (OTC:SLON) announced today the name of its first original web series for the upcoming, all-new, www.saloncity.com: Hollywood Celebeauty. Each two-to-three minute webisode of Hollywood Celebeauty will bring to life the pages of SCI’s flagship publication, Salon City magazine, with segments covering beauty entertainment, fashion, music, and celebrity lifestyle. “We’ve already shot several exciting interviews with celebrities during Emmy Awards week,” revealed Van Vandegrift, executive producer of branded entertainment production company matrixx, and producer of each webisode for SCI. “We’ll also feature entertaining pieces on fashion rights and wrongs, surviving dating disasters, delicious dishes, hair and makeup tutorials by celebrity stylists, and more.” Hollywood Celebeauty will also include product integration from major brands and advertisers embedded throughout the content. “The name ‘Hollywood Celebeauty’ is an ideal reflection of Salon City’s home base and our ‘Life is Beautiful’philosophy,” commented SCI president and CEO Steven Casciola. “We are the first to brand ‘beauty entertainment,’ and we aim to have media buyers see us as the leading resource for their investment dollars and campaigns.” Brands featured within the first few webisodes include ABS by Allen Schwartz, Great Lengths USA, Coby Electronics, Hearts On Fire Diamonds, Warren-Tricomi, B2V Salon, and Vespa.
