Indian ace tennis star Sania Mirza has the potential to break into the top 10 in the women's global rankings, the legendary Vijay Amritraj said here Tuesday. The former India Davis Cup tennis captain, however, said that to achieve that Sania, 19, would have to overcome a few technical blemishes in her game. He did not elaborate. "Sania knows it, her coaches know it and they are working on it. She needs to work on some technical aspects of her game to get even better," he told reporters. Amritraj was here as the brand ambassador of Delhi Hutch Half-Marathon that was launched here Tuesday. "I firmly believe that she can enter the top 10 in women's tennis. She has the game, has time on her side and, most importantly, has a strong mind," he said. Sania is currently ranked 44th in the world after slipping a bit on the rankings ladder. Amritraj, however, said ups and downs were part and parcel of the game. "She had a wonderful year last year and it is difficult to deliver such results year after year. Wins and losses will come as one plays more and more," he pointed out.
