Scots liken their wives to 'slummy mummy' Britney !

Scottish dads who apparently don't carry high opinions about their partners' parenting skills, regard singer Britney Spears as a "slummy mummy," and often view their wives as a replica of the pop star.

Mum-of-two Spears came top of the list for dads questioned by baby feeding brand Avent. The majority of Edinburgh fathers compared their partners to the popstar because of her irresponsible behaviour.

However, the Capital's mums questioned said that they preferred to be compared with the more traditional TV chef Nigella Lawson, 46, choosing the "stay-at-home mummy" as the category they most identified with.

And the city also has the highest percentage of Nigella wannabes, with 53 per cent of mums picking the famous cook as their ideal role model, reports The Scotsman.

British PM Tony Blair was robbed of the "slummy daddy" title by just one other eager competitor - Britney's rapper hubby Kevin Federline.
