Senior Railway officer transferred

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (SDCM) of Ambala Division of Northern Railway M S Challia was today transferred with immediate effect, an official spokesman said.

While no reason has been stated for the sudden transfer of Challia, who had joined here only recently, the spokesman said the officer had been transferred on administrative grounds.

Karan Singh, who was posted as Divisional Operating Manager (Planning) has been posted as SDCM in place of Challia, who has been posted in the Railway Claims Tribunal at Ghaziabad.
