Suspicious man held near ISRO in Tamil Nadu

A young man loitering suspiciously near a research centre of the Indian Space Research Centre (ISRO) in Mahendragiri was Saturday detained for questioning by police.

An intelligence team from Chennai rushed to the Mahendragiri Liquid Propulsion System Centre near Nagercoil, 800 km south of here, where the youth was held.

The youth has reportedly told the police that he is from West Bengal.

Sources said the man, who was carrying a bag and a camera, appeared to be mentally unstable. He is reported to have taken several pictures of the facility.
