TeleTracking Makes Healthcare Informatics’ “HCI 100” For Third Straight Year

By: Arts & Entertainment News

For the third straight year, TeleTracking Technologies has been selected to Healthcare Informatics Magazine’s “HCI 100” list of pre-eminent healthcare technology vendors, and this year was also named an industry “Up and Comer” by the publication.

TeleTracking, the world’s leading developer of automated patient flow software solutions, was cited in the magazine’s June issue for its success at building a client base of more than 650 hospitals throughout North America, including leading facilities such as Scripps Health campuses in La Jolla and Chula Vista, California, and Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa. The article noted that TeleTracking has grown at a compounded rate of 27 per cent over the last three years, and recently introduced TeleTracking XT, which uses advanced technology to take patient flow management and resource allocation to the next level.

The magazine also pointed to the success of OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois, which saved more than $300,000 in the first year it used the TeleTracking Bed Management Suite software, and projects additional savings of $1.3 million over the next three years.

“For 14 years, the Healthcare Informatics 100 has been used by providers and vendors to identify significant companies in the healthcare IT industry,” said Anthony Guerra, editor-in-chief of Healthcare Informatics. “Those organizations that make the list demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering the best products and services.”

TeleTracking’s Bed Management Suite has been proven to dramatically reduce patient wait times, decrease emergency department overcrowding and diversions. By allowing staff to know exactly which beds are occupied, available, or in progress of being cleaned, as well as patient status, it permits more efficient planning and management of resources to expedite patient flow and project resource needs.

“We’re pleased to be included again in Healthcare Informatics’ list of industry leaders,” said Anthony Sanzo, TeleTracking’s president and chief executive officer.

“To be included one time is an honor; to be included multiple, consecutive times shows that the magazine considers us to be a leader in our market segment, capable of delivering consistently significant value to health care facilities.”
