Vince Vaughn helps Aniston overcome dad's health crisis trauma

Actress Jennifer Aniston's father John has reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest.

According to Life & Style magazine, the actress got the news about her father's illness last Friday and immediately rushed to the hospital to be at his bedside.

US soap star John, 73, is recovering at West Hills Hospital + Medical Center in California.

Sources revealed that Aniston's Break-Up co-star and boyfriend Vince Vaughn was a great help to the actress, as he stuck by her during the crucial hours, providing her the much needed strength and support.

"It was a scary few hours before Jen got definitive word from doctors that her dad would be fine," Contactmusic quoted a family source, as telling the publication.

"He cancelled several appointments and stayed by her side. I don't think Jen is ever going to forget what a stand-up guy Vince was and how he really stuck by her just when she needed him the most," the source added.

Aniston's representatives have, however, refused to comment.
