When Elizabeth Taylor was mad with Michael Jackson

Although Dame Elizabeth Taylor and Michael Jackson have been friends for ages, they did have a furious argument when Jackson gave her poor seats at one of his concerts.

The ‘Cat On A Hot Tin Roof’ star regularly watched Jackson perform in the 1990s, but was stunned when he once placed her in a L.A concert venue far away from the stage.

"They told me she had gone home - mad," the New York Post quoted Jackson, as saying.

But to make up with his friend, Jackson made sure to call her to apologize for his goof-up.

"The next day, I called her, and I cried because I felt so awful. And she said, 'Michael, a star such as myself never sits in the cheap seats!'" he said.
