There was a time when the main use for audiobooks was entertainment for children on long car journeys. The variety is endless and you can listen anywhere. You can improve your job prospects when travelling to work by listening to an appropriate audio book when it might be difficult to physically read the same book. Many people view audiobooks as part of their every day lives and wouldn't be without them as they help them accomplish more than one thing at a time. As time pressures on people seem to be constantly increasing this is one reason why the popularity of audiobooks looks certain to keep growing.
