A Missouri woman has been convicted of hitting the woman who sold her a Chihuahua puppy with the body of the dead dog. Lisa Hopfer of Wentzville says she was angry at Linda Hulsey for selling her a puppy that turned out to be too young to be taken from its mother, The St.Louis Post-Dispatch reported. But she denies hitting Hulsey with the dog, saying she only yelled and shook the animal at her. Hulsey testified that Hopfer pushed her way into her house and hit her repeatedly with the dog's body. The assault continued outside, she said. "She's somebody I never want to be in the presence of again," Hulsey told a judge in St.Charles County. Hopfer is scheduled to be sentenced later this month for misdemeanor assault and trespass. She faces up to 18 months in prison and a $1,500 fine.
