Youth nabbed in Poonch; headless body found in Doda

Security personnel arrested a 17-year-old youth, who was moving suspiciously in Surankote area of Poonch.

Mohammad Yakoob was nabbed by the troops of 25 Rashtriya Rifles yesterday and later handed over to the police for further questioning, a defence spokesman said.

Three small bags containing ration was recovered from his possession.

Meanwhile, panic gripped in Kishtwar area of Doda district when security forces fished out the body of an unidentified middle-aged person from Chichangal nallah yesterday, official sources said.

The highly decomposed headless body was later handed over to the police and a case has been registered in this connection, they said.
